Apollo Ink jet Products and Supplies
Apollo Consumer Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of HP, was founded in 1999 to produce stylish color ink jet printing machines for less than $100. Apollo ink jet printing machines are basically HP printing machines in more stylish and colorful clothing. Their brand promise was "Great Value. In Style" and these splashy printing machines went well with the equally colorful iMac. HP ended up discontinuing the Apollo line, however, cartridge supplies are still available for your Apollo printing machine under the HP brand name.

| For most of mankind, printing, reading and writing are activities imbedded in the cycle of daily life, like eating or sleeping. Not so in the even not-so-remote past when readers were believed to have some mysterious powers. A 1641 story tells us of an Indian slave assigned to deliver a basket of figs to his master. During the journey the slave ate some of the figs. At destination he was accused of stealing as a letter asccompanying the figs stated their original number. Next time the slave hid the letter under a stone as he was eating the figs. He believed that if the letter did not see him eating, then he would not be discovered. On being discovered a second time and more sternly confronted with his crime, the slave reformed and from that day on no shortages were reported. |
