Brother Laser Products and Supplies
Though originally known for their line of sewing machines (which they still offer), Brother has designed a selection of office machines over the past several decades, including typewriters, faxes, printers and copiers. In the past years, Brother has brought to market a large number of laser printers, laser faxes, and laser multifunction machines. At the moment their most popular office items are their laser Multifunction Center products. Brother also has introduced a small number of color laser print machines, which fit into Brother's general pattern of separate toner print cartridges and laser drum cartridges. In the design of their laser print machines, Brother has adhered to a 2-cartridge structure, comprised of separate toner print cartridges and laser drum cartridges. Though some of their older laser print machines had a rather lopsided toner-drum system in which the toner print cartridge did little more than store toner, most current Brother laser print machine models seem to split the imaging process more evenly between the two units.
