This monochrome standard capacity Brother TN530 laser toner cartridge is created for use in for Brother HL-5040, HL-5050, HL-5070N and HL-5050T. It also works with the following Brother laser models: DCP 8020 / 8025D, HL 5040 / 5050 / 5050LT / 5070N, MFC 8420 / 8820D / 8820DN. The TN530 contains just the laser toner -- the imaging drum is housed in a separate OPC unit. When installed in the laser print machine, these two units work jointly to create the image and transfer the laser toner to the paper.

Both genuine and new compatible TN530 laser toner cartridges are available off the shelf to resupply your laser print machine with laser toner. A complete TN530 would be the simplest supply selection, since you only need to install it in the laser print machine and start printing. For greater cost-cutting on your printer expenses you can recycle your TN530 laser toner cartridge, but this does require more action on the part of the user to recycle the laser toner cartridge.
