It also works with the following laser mulfunction printing machines: Brother DCP-8040 / 8045, Brother MFC-8220 / 8440 / 8840. As a standard page yield laser print cartridge, the TN540 has a duty cycle of 3500 pages at 5% density. As with most Brother laser print cartridges, the TN540 works alongside a OPC unit.
